Job Descriptions:
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including monthly, quarterly and year end process, accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury and budgeting, forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, costing and variance analysis, accounts statement reconciliations, check runs, fixed assets activity and debt activity.
Produce timely and accurate financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, cash projections, expenses, costing, etc. Reviews, monitors and manages budgets and develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
Supervises, track and evaluate day-to-day activities with responsibilities to include establishing financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting information.
Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
Spearheads cost savings activities and encourages development of ideas.
Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
Coordinate and complete annual audits.
Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
Assign projects and direct staff top ensure compliance and accuracy
Meet financial accounting objectives.
Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
Police authority to control company disbursements and expenditures
Discipline, train and motivates subordinates.
Adept and substantial exposure in all phases of accounting such as general, costing, payroll, credit and collection in a managerial or senior supervisory level.
Advanced computer skills on MS Office and accounting software (QuickBooks and Xero).
Ability to manipulate large amount of data.
Knowledgeable of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, taxation laws and regulations.
High attention to detail and accuracy, logical and analytical thinker
Ability to direct and supervise.
At least 8 years relevant experience.
BS degree in Accounting or Finance, a CPA is an advantage but not required.
